Wiener Linien – WOULDN’T IT BE NICE?

To inspire people in Vienna to move more climate friendly within the city, we launched a campaign for the Wiener Linien (Viennese Public Transportation) that asked a simple question: Wouldn’t it be nice? The Beach Boys remix offers a dreamy and trippy glimpse of what could be, if we’d hop on climate friendly public transportation more often. Find more stills, styles and gifs here.

Wiener Linien – WIR FAHREN MIT DER U-BAHN

At the height of Austro-Pop & Neue Deutsche Welle (German New Wave) in the 80s, a band called Minisex stormed domestic clubs and charts with a song that glorifies driving a car (hear/see it here). For Wiener Linien (Vienna Public Transportation) we got the OG of Minisex himself to turn his own legendary car anthem on its head and glorify riding the metro instead. Some nostalgia and a progressive message created tons of earned media and helped unify two generations for one cause: climate protection.

ALEXANDER VAN DER BELLEN’S
AUSTRIAN PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN 2016

The former Green Party leader, Alexander van der Bellen, went head-to-head against a right-wing candidate in Austria’s presidential election. I like to think my Van Halen-style t-shirt helped the campaign to become a bit cooler, connect with a bigger audience and ultimately mobilize additional voters to win a historically close, important and crazy election race.
